Ballroom A
Join us for a Morning Mental Workout to get your juices flowing for the rest of the day. Sarah Nikiforow, MD, PhD, Technical Director of the Immune Effector Cell Therapy Program and Associate Medical Director, Connell and O'Reilly Families Cell Manipulation Core Facility at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA – will facilitate a lively discussion of topics with CAR, NK and other cellular therapy experts spanning clinical and translational expertise.  Engage in a structured Q&A about the good, the bad, and the ugly experiences from thought leaders who have been chosen based on their enthusiasm to share their experiences and expertise in career development within the cell therapy space, tips on funding approaches, hard knocks learned during regulatory submissions both to FDA and within an academic institution, and key resources for success in both academic and commercial settings. Audience members will also have the opportunity to submit questions before and during the session using the Sli.do app, microphone and/or a loud voice. The goal is to be able to interact with and learn from these experts in a casual setting. This hour will provide excellent exposure to those entering the field as well as more experienced investigators trying to navigate this rapidly changing cell therapy landscape.  They will make it look as easy as calling an UBER!
